British Foreign Policy makes us a target
A group of British Muslims, including MPs, has written a letter to say that British foreign policy is leading ordinary citizens into danger because it provokes anger amongst young people who ar outraged at seeing the killings in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Balkans, Palestine, and now the Lebanon.
"The signatories insisted they condemned those who planned the alleged attacks. Mr Khan told the Guardian that Mr Blair's reluctance to criticise Israel over the Lebanon attacks meant the pool of people from which terrorists found their recruits was increasing".
Khalid Mahmood, M.P. for Perry Barr, Birmingham, was not mentioned. He has appeared to be close to Blair over the years and is PPS to the leading MP of the Friends of Israel group, Tony McNulty.
Iit is not only British civilians who are at risk from British/US foreign policy. Huge numbers of casualties are recorded in the theatres of war in the Middle East, including Israel. Deaths in Lebanon and Israel will continue as long as it takes the U.N. Agreement to come into force (if it ever does), but of course civilian deaths will continue to escalate elsewhere.
